LASU: Students reactions towards ICT incompetence

The Lagos State University, LASU, students have severally complained about the incompetency of Information Communication Technology, ICT, of LASU concerning the issue of not printing their course form after registration. It is worrisome that after paying that high fee, yet they have refused to put things in order.
According to Gabriel Omomogbe, a student of LASU studying foreign languages, ‘‘this issue of not printing course form is another problem in LASU. At first, it was the issue of registration but now it is no more registration but printing, who knows the other problem that will arise again. Speaking about the ICT of LASU, they are just occupying offices for no reason, what does it take to allow people to be able to print their course form. The funny part is even after registering, you will still see it written on your portal ‘‘you have not registered for your rain semester.”
Furthermore, it a pitiable situation that after registering your courses, you can’t print out; now that exam is at the corner. Speaking again with a student of mass communication, Qudus Wale, ‘‘LASU needs to do a check on them, especially the ICT sector. The last time a riot broke out as a result of students paying school fees but not allowing them to registered is traceable to the ICT and the administrative department and the senate. Even the issue of docket is another one that I don’t even intend to talk about for now.”
It will be recalled that earlier this year student took to violence when the school management denied over a thousand students access to the portal for registration. An action that saw the school closed down for 2 months.
