The university of
Lagos has always been known as one of the leading Universities in Nigeria,
although it achievements do not extend to the academic pitch. The school is
known for an active social life which is evident in the student’s day to day
activities both off and on campus.
In a bid to sanitize the school surrounding and prevent the
spread of Ebola virus, the university embarked on a thorough cleaning programme
of the school environment especially the hostels.
The students were asked to evacuate the hostels and it was
sanitized for a period of two days, the hostel was treated for all manners of
pests and bugs which have been plaguing it. The students were then allowed back
into their rooms but were strongly advised to take precaution and maintain a clean
and germ free environment.
